Sewing Program

The Believe in Haiti Sewing Program has provided some of the young people of St. Roch with basic sewing skills. These skills will initially be used to mend and tailor school uniforms for family members and friends, which will reduce the economic burden on the families of school children in the community, including those within our school sponsorship program. This concept certainly promotes our one community, one effort vision. For some, the opportunity to build a sewing business can become a reality. This opportunity can help provide the basic necessities of life; to bind and strengthen families, one stitch at a time.
